Bachelor of Business and Diplome d'Etudes Superieures Europeenes de Management

This program leads to the award of two degrees, the UTS: Bachelor of Business with major in International Business and sub-major in Language Other than English (French) and the DESEM which is granted by the Reims Management School in France.

Course duration

The program is 3.5yrs full-time and allows for a major in International Business and a sub-major in Language Other Than English: French Language and Culture. Students will study in France for 2yrs, consisting of 3 semesters of study and 1 semester on a work placement (student to arrange in conjunction with Reims Management School).

Fees and expenses

Payment of all tuition fees for the UTS Bachelor of Business and DESEM is made through HECS-HELP opens a UTSWeb sub-site. All other costs, including travel, accommodation, health cover and student union fees, must be met by the student. The student, in conjunction with Reims Management School, arranges the work placement component in France.

Entry requirements

Applicants need to be highly fluent in written and spoken French. Admission is limited to 10 students per year and is based on admission to the UTS Bachelor of Business through UAC and submission of a Supplementary Application Form (as below). Applicants may be interviewed if required. Applicants should have either taken French as part of their HSC, or gained knowledge of the language by other means. Students must also take a sub-major in French as part of the Business studies degree.

How to apply?

Admission is limited to 10 students per year and is based on admission to the UTS Bachelor of Business through UAC and submission of a supplementary application form (PDF, 40k, 2 pages) to Student Centre Haymarket (Undergraduate). Application forms need to be submitted before Friday 6 February 2009. Applicants may be interviewed in January if required.
