Application steps for becoming a casual academic

The UTS Business School draws on the resources of industry professionals to help with its mission of teaching and learning. Casual academic staff may take lectures or tutorials at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.

Please fill in the application form for inclusion on the Casual Teaching Staff Eligibility List. The UTS Business School is accredited by AACSB, which has quite strict requirements on the quality of our staff. We need all the information on the form to determine if you are a suitable person to be a casual academic.

Once you have been placed on the Eligibility List, the Head of the relevant Discipline Group or one of the academics may approach you about your interest in teaching in a forthcoming semester.
