Academic professional development events
Teaching and Learning Workshops and Events
UTS Business School runs teaching and learning events throughout the year with guest speakers visiting to demonstrate ideas and resources. Before the beginning of each semester there is also a series of teaching and learning workshops available to all academic staff, these workshops cover areas such as, coordinating a subject, assessment and marking, using effective groupwork. Annual Teaching and Learning Forum
Once a year the faculty runs a Teaching and learning forum. This forum is based around a theme and includes a keynote session by a recognised expert in that area. The forum also provides an opportunity for staff to share good practice with their colleagues with previous funded project winners presenting on the findings of their work.
IML activities
The UTS:Institute for Interactive Media and Learning (IML) run a series of teaching and learning activities from the Graduate Certificate in Teaching to workshops on applying for teaching related grants and awards. See UTS:IML events.

UTS Business School provides the opportunity to apply for funding to support teaching and learning projects each year. There are also other funding opportunities from UTS or the ALTC (part of DEEWR)
