Teaching & Learning Grants
There are three types fo Teaching and Learning Grants available to UTS Business staff:
- UTS Business School -guidelines; application form
- UTS Vice Chancellor Grants
- National OLT Grants
The 2013 scheme for OLT Teaching and Learning Grants has just been announced.
There are significant changes to the scheme in 2013. Among the changes are an earlier internal deadline, (dates to be advised); a new submission process; only one round for full applications; and the reintroduction of Expressions of Interest.
A seminar on applying for 2013 OLT Grants will be run in the second half of January. As the timeframes will be very tight, intending applicants are advised to read the guidelines and begin drafting their applications as soon as possible.
Innovation and Development Grant Priority Areas are:
Assessment and promotion of student learning
Curriculum Design
Improving tertiary pathways
Improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s higher education access and outcomes
Innovative use of technology in learning and teaching
Internationalisation
Research and development
Strategic approaches to learning and teaching which enhance student access and progression, and respond to student diversity
These are broad categories, and some have very specific sub-categories.
