Variation of program
To enrol or withdraw from coursework subjects. This form must be submitted before the Coursework Census Date at Business Research Office. Please do NOT submit e-Request. Also see UTS:Forms and UTS:Rules
Changes to candidature (student study period) details
To change your attendance pattern, thesis title and supervisors. The form must be submitted by the Coursework Census Date at Business Research Office. See UTS:Forms
Review of Progress
Students must submit a Review of Progress every semester unless they are on leave or under examination. See Business School Doctoral Framework guidelines and UTS:Review of progress guidelines
Doctoral or Masters assessment
Students are required to undertake a formal assessment by a review panel, who decide whether student's candidature should be continued, re-assessed, or discontinued. The assessment takes the form of both a written and oral presentation of your research proposal. Full-time students are required to undertake the assessment by the end of their second semester and part-time students by the end of their third semester. Contact your Discipline Group Research Coordinator to arrange your assessment. See Business School Assessment procedures.
Leave of absence
Application for leave must be submitted by the Research Census Date at Business Research Office. Leave must be at least 2 months. See UTS:Rules and UTS:Forms
Extension of candidature
If you are unable to submit your thesis for examination by the Expected Work Submission (EWS) date you need to contact Business Research Office immediately. You may be able to apply for extension. If approved, an extension for 1 semester will be granted. See UTS:Rules and UTS:Forms
Thesis submission and examination
Upon completion, students are required to submit their thesis for examination. The preparation for this begins 3 months prior to submission of thesis. See UTS: Thesis submission and examination
Graduation
When your thesis has been examined and you are eligible to graduate, UTS:Graduation will contact you regarding your graduation ceremony. See UTS:Graduation
Course withdrawal
Before withdrawing, you must discusswithdrawal with your supervisor. The form must be submitted by the Research Census Date at Business Research Office. See UTS:Rules and UTS:Forms
