Financial support scheme
In addition to Business Scholarships and UTS: University Graduate School (Research) Scholarships and support, we offer 2 limited financial support schemes for UTS Business School research students.
Calls for applications for these schemes are sent out to students in the form of emails to their UTS email address.
Research Students Fund
UTS Business School provides limited funding to Doctoral research students to attend research activities (including conference presentations) that assist in the development of their thesis.
There are three opportunities to apply for funding throughout the year.
- Round 1 applications close 4pm Thursday 17 November 2011. This round covers research activities to be held between 1 January 2012 and 30 April 2012.
- Round 2 applications close 4pm Thursday 22 March 2012. This round covers research activities to be held between 1 May 2012 and 31 August 2012.
- Round 3 applications close 4pm Thursday 19 July 2012. This round covers research activities to be held between 1 September 2012 and 31 December 2012.

Editing of Theses Fund
UTS Business School provides some funding to Doctoral research students who require editorial advice with their thesis in their final semester prior to submission.
There are two opportunities to apply for funding throughout the year.
- Round 1 applications close 4pm Thursday 22 March 2012. This round covers proposed thesis submission dates between 1 April 2012 and 31 August 2012.
- Round 2 applications close 4pm Thursday 23 August 2012. This round covers proposed thesis submission dates between 1 September 2012 and 31 March 2013.
