Bachelor of Business - Economics and Business Law
I really enjoy UTS because of its flexibility, you get to pick you own timetable and subjects when they suit you, so you're not locked into anything. The UTS degree is really highly regarded in industry. I'm currently completing internships at one of the big four accounting firms as well as a major investment bank. It's really nice to see the application of the things you use in the classroom in the real world.

Bachelor of Arts in International Studies
When I first started off I really wanted to study Finance. But as I did my core subjects I realized that wasn't the pathway for me. The great thing about UTS is that you can change your mind and you can still come out with a great degree. Now I'm studying PR and advertising and I love what I do. One of the things that I really think is great about UTS is the social life. There are pubs and social clubs that you can join and meet a whole new group of people and friends from different backgrounds.

Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Law
The best thing I would say about the business degree is that it is flexible. When I finished high school I had no idea what I was going to do in my future career and I still don't but the business degree lets me choose that later on. The business degree is located in the Haymarket Campus which for me is great because it's just a twenty-minute train ride from home, a quick walk from central station and close to Darling Harbour, China Town and the City. So if you have got other things to do you can just pop down and it is just so convenient.

Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Arts in International Studies
Last year I was studying in Zurich for a year and thoroughly enjoyed myself and the experience. UTS is very big on the International scene and has a vast amount of International links so you are really able to interact with students from all over the world in the classroom and you have the opportunity to travel all over the world with your business degree. The course is very practical, I really enjoyed the group work that we did in the classroom and the huge amount of subjects offered so you can really tailor your degree to what you enjoy. Reflecting on five years at UTS, it was an excellent time and I really recommend it to anybody.

Tim Bowrey

Bachelor of Business - Finance and Accounting
UTS allows you to get a broader education rather than just being in a classroom all day so I've made some friends that I will have forever through the ski club, touch football and things like that. I found the more involved I got with the university the more enjoyable it was and it flows over to your studies, you get better marks if you enjoy what you are doing. No other uni has that city based atmosphere which is great as well as the flexibility to study at Kuring-gai, out at Lindfield, which is the complete opposite: it's quite, leafy and there's a smaller atmosphere where I get the chance to make a lot of friends that I'm sure I'll keep for the rest of my life.
