Research centres
In a research centre a number of researchers work in areas which are united by a common theme. These Centres may bring together researchers from the different discipline groups within the UTS Business School, or may also include members of other faculties or other universites, institutions, or businesses.
The Marketing Discipline Group has strong involvement in two established university research groups: the Centre for the Study of Choice (CenSoC) and the Centre for Management and Organisation Studies (CMOS).
Centre for the Study of Choice (CenSoC)
CenSoC is rapidly becoming one of the world’s premier research groups focusing on consumer and managerial decision-making and choice behaviour. Researchers within the Marketing Discipline Group and from elsewhere have the opportunity to be associated with CenSoC, which provides opportunities to work with well-established and highly successful research teams in marketing, applied economics, finance and statistics.
Centre for Management and Organisation Studies (CMOS)
CMOS is developing into one of the foremost research groups with global impact emphasising how management and organization practices affect organizational performance. Members of the Marketing Discipline Group and from other internal and external units can be associated with CMOS so that they can leverage a well-supported research infrastructure and work with renowned researchers coming from management, general strategy, marketing and other disciplines.
