Jason Harris is a lecturer in the UTS Faculty of Law, who teaches and researches in the area of corporate law and insolvency. Jason has previously worked at the University of NSW, the Australian National University and the Australian Government Solicitors.
Jason's research is focused on the regulation of corporate groups, and comparative corporate insolvency law. Jason has published numerous books, articles and conference papers on lifting the corporate veil, liability within corporate groups, voluntary administration and the treatment of shareholders in insolvency. Current research projects involve the position of shareholders in corporate governance regulation and the allocation of risk between shareholders and unsecured creditors in corporate insolvency law.
