The conference welcomes contributions from speakers with either ‘academic’ or ‘industry’ backgrounds. The intent is to provide space for theoretically informed debate as well as the practical insights and experiences of sport practitioners (see Abstracts). The conference will take place over three days, commencing Sunday 30 Nov and concluding Tuesday 2 Dec 2008. The organisers anticipate adopting three parallel sessions in unison, which will allow for approximately 80 papers over three days. Delegates wishing to present a paper at the conference are required to submit an abstract, which can be downloaded here. The draft program schedule is expected to be made available online by the end of October.  There will be opportunities to publish papers after the conference, the details of which can be found on the "Publications" page.
