What quality of work can I expect?

The students range from first year undergraduate to final year Master's students. Past industry supervisors have been very complimentary about the level of presentation and professionalism of student work.

What resources will the student require?

For a placement the student may need to have workspace and access to equipment that is required to implement their tasks. For research projects, the industry partner is expected to cover the cost of implementing their research, eg. printing of questionnaires, postage costs.

How much supervision will my company be required to provide?

It depends on the placement or project, but generally you will need to nominate a supervisor who can provide direction, support and feedback.

Am I covered for worker's compensation for a student on placement?

Yes, you are covered for public liability up to $10 million if the placement is unpaid.
