The UTS:Careers Service is committed to improving the employability and career direction of UTS students. According to the UTS:Graduate Destination Survey, approximately 86% of our students attain full time work within 3 months completion of study.

    Most careers information for students is available on the UTS:Careers Service website.

    Current UTS students can take advantage of many free resources and services from careers experts and employers, including: career counselling sessions; resume and cover letter review service; career skills workshops; employer information events; comprehensive web resources; and careers library. Check our webpage and see our Careers Event Calendar for upcoming events.

    Alumni can access Career Counselling Services at a discount rate. Contact the Careers Service to make an appointment.

  • LODE Database

    Click to access to the LODE database where you can create and maintain your profile to showcase your talents to Australia’s top employers and get discovered.

  • Internships

    Most internship opportunities are advertised on the UTS:Careers website. The following internship programs are offered within UTS:Business:

  • Work experience

    Students can undertake work experience and be covered by UTS: public liability and personal accident insurance.

  • Paid and voluntary jobs

    Full-time, part-time, paid and voluntary jobs for UTS students are advertised on the UTS:Careers, UTS:Online and UTS:Alumni websites.

  • Event management jobs

    Paid and volunteer opportunities in the events industry are also posted on the UTS:Australian Centre for Event Management.

  • UTS:Shopfront

    Work experience projects and case studies are also advertised on UTS:Shopfront.

    • Youth Challenge Australia

      Organisation engaging Australian volunteers aged 18-30 in grass roots development work.

    • Indigenuous Community Volunteers

      Indigenous Community Volunteers (ICV) links Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with skilled volunteers to do human and community development.
