Fast-track period for first-year students

The Bachelor of Accounting course starts with compulsory classes 6 weeks before most university students and staff arrive back from the summer break - view course start date. The reason for this early start (which is compulsory for all new students) is to provide an intensive period dedicated to special activities of the Bachelor of Accounting program.

In this 6 weeks of fast-track study you will meet your fellow BAcc students and the staff of the program, explore the university and the CBD of Sydney on day excursions, socialise together and forge friendships, all while managing to complete 2 university subjects (Introductory Accounting and Introductory Business Computing).  There is also the first formal function of the year, the official Welcome Reception for you, our new students.

By the end of this fast-track period, as other first-year university students arrive to start their courses, you will feel very much at home.
