Who Is It For?

The Bachelor of Accounting program is for high-achieving young men and women who have an interest in accounting and business as a career. No other university course can offer such a fast track to a successful business career.

Because of the limited number of scholarship places on offer each year, competition for places is high. Our selection criteria go beyond the university entrance score, and our application process includes a written Application Form and an interview.  The selection criteria reflect the skills and attributes that graduate employers - our industry partners - are looking for in graduate recruits.

We seek applications from recent school leavers all over Australia - the course is not just for Sydney students.

Check out some profiles of current BAcc students to see what sort of people have been successful in getting into the course. Or see what our students get up to outside of work and study.

You might like to read about why accounting is the best path to take to a great business career. Or you might be worried that by doing this course you'll turn into a boring accountant!

Please note that the course is only open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, and is intended for recent high-school leavers.
