International Exchange

Did you know that you have the opportunity to spend one semester studying at an overseas university as part of the Bachelor of Accounting course?

Going on exchange is a chance to internationalise your degree, develop your intercultural skills, live in another country and enjoy all the different experiences that this may bring. The subjects you study overseas are credited towards your UTS degree, as an International Exchange Sub-Major. You can study at any one of UTS's many exchange partner universities, in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Because of the tight scheduling within the BAcc degree, it is only possible to go on International Exchange in the last semester of the course (Semester 6 - Spring of third year). And you need to have the money to pay for airfares and living expenses in another country. But it is a great opportunity and one that UTS encourages all its students to consider.

You can read more about the UTS International Exchange scheme.

There are currently four final-year BAcc students studying overseas on exchange, having already secured graduate jobs in Sydney to return to next year.
