The Accounting Discipline Group is committed to being one of the premier research schools in accounting. Part of our research strategy is to conduct our distinguished international visitor lecture series - a series of full-day lectures on selected topics by leading international researchers. These lecture series are aimed at academics, PhD students and outstanding honours students who are committed to research.

Presenter: Professor Eli Bartov (Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University)

Applications are invited to attend this Accounting Research Seminar being conducted by Professor Eli Bartov.

Professor Bartov is a Research Professor of Accounting at New York University's Leonard N. School of Business. He served as the Director of Accounting Doctoral Program from 2001 to 2010. Professor Bartov received his PhD degree at the University of California, Berkley in 1989 and his CPA certification in 1979.

Professor Bartov's research focuses on executive compensation, executive stock options, earnings management, earnings expectation management, and various aspects of equity valuation and trading strategies.
