Non-award Courses in Enterprise-Systems
The School of Accounting currently offers three short courses in SAP/Accounting:
Certificate I in Accounting with SAP®ERP (website)
This 6-day course aims to facilitate participant knowledge and skills to:
- Understand the architecture, components, terminology and functionality of SAP®ERP.
- Understand the specifics of integrated accounting processes in SAP®ERP.
- Demonstrate a deeper understanding of the SAP®ERP FINANCIALS – in particular the organisational model, configuration, master data management and key processes for accounting in an Australian and international setting – and the integration of financials and logistics.
- Understand parameters and features of SAP®ERP which allow you to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of accounting.
- Use SAP®ERP for integrated and automated transaction processing and financial reporting.
Certificate II in Accounting with SAP®ERP (website)
This SAP training program aims to facilitate participant knowledge and skills to:
- Understand the process of implementing or improving SAP®ERP processes with regards to objectives in accounting and internal control.
- Understand the specifics of controls for integrated accounting processes in SAP®ERP.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the SAP®ERP FINANCIALS, particularly
- the authorization model,
- advanced issues in configuration,
- specialized processes in accounting in a local and international setting.
- Understand parameters and advanced features of SAP®ERP which allow you to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of accounting and assurance.
- Use SAP®ERP for integrated and automated transaction processing and advanced financial reporting.
Certificate III in Accounting with SAP®ERP: SAP Consultant Certification (website)
This SAP solution centric program aims to facilitate participant knowledge and skills to:
- Understand most complex processes in accounting with SAP®ERP, including how those processes are configured.
- Master an integrated case study dealing with advanced issues in accounting with SAP®ERP.
- Master the SAP Consultant Certification Exam in Financial Accounting.
Non-award Postgraduate Study
As a non-award student, you are able to attend postgraduate single subjects without enrolling in a postgraduate course.
