Non-award Courses in Accounting

In addition to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the School of Accounting offers these non-award courses.

Graduate Conversion Course in Accounting

The Graduate Conversion Course in Accounting is a UTS Continuing Professional Education Short Course administered by the School of Accounting. It is a bridging course for people who have overseas accounting qualifications or have studied some accounting and are looking for a career change to Accounting. Undertaking this course allows completion of selected components from the Core Curriculum/Knowledge areas of the accounting professional bodies – ICAA, CPA Australia and/or the NIA.

If you need to complete most or all of the Core Curriculum/Knowledge areas you should look to enrolling in the UTS award courses - the GSB's Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) or the MBA major in Professional Accounting.

Financial Analysis Certificate

The “Financial Analysis Certificate, using Excel” courses, are designed for existing users of Excel or similar spreadsheets needing to vastly increase their professional skills, such as spreadsheet design, spreadsheet security and advanced modelling, in the disciplinary areas of Accounting and Finance. The “Advanced Professional” course also covers VBA programming.
